Summary:A method and device for blocking sun rays from shining through the side window of a vehicle. Custom sized sun shade panels are cut. A first sun shade panel is inserted between the window and window seal of the side window of a vehicle. Then at least one other sun shade panel is inserted adjacent to the first sun shade panel to form a stack of sun shade panels. The number of sun shade panels in the stack may be adjusted to achieve the desired blockage of sun rays from entering the vehicle.
