Summary:The wiring arrangement length in a photoreceiving device is shortened. The photoreceiving device includes an amplifier for amplifying an output of the photoreceiving element and a photoreceiving element and they are mounted at a base member. A plurality of first bonding pads and a plurality of second bonding pads for connection to power supply are provided at both sides of a transmission path of an input or output signal of a photoreceiving element. Furthermore, at a position other than the parts arrangement surface of the base member, a plurality of first bonding pads are electrically connected to a plurality of second bonding pads.
