Summary: | In one embodiment, an apparatus for manufacturing an internal wound stator includes a winding arbor, a stator loader, a first movable member, and a second rotating member. The stator includes an interior opening and multiple axial slots. The interior opening has a diameter larger than an exterior dimension of the winding arbor. The winding arbor includes an interior and a port being at a central portion of the member. The stator loader supports the stator. The first movable member moves port of the winding arbor through the interior opening of the stator along a first axial slot of the axial slots. The second rotating member rotates the stator and the port of the winding arbor with respect to one another to align the port with a second axial slot of the axial slots. The first movable member moves the port through the second axial slot of the stator. |
