Summary:In a wireless LAN system, an apparatus for controlling load balance of multi-access points and a method thereof prevent load from being concentrated on a specific access point by comparatively evaluating received load values of many access points after receiving the load values from the access points, and enabling the access point having the concentrated load to reject terminal access or remove prior-accessed terminals. The apparatus comprises: wireless LAN terminals having wireless LAN interfaces and receiving a wireless LAN service; access points providing the wireless LAN service to the wireless LAN terminals, periodically transmitting load state information, and suppressing an increase of load when a load suppressing signal is received; and a management system comparatively evaluating load states of each access point by receiving the load state information from the access points, and transmitting a load increase suppressing signal to access points under certain conditions.
