Summary:A liquid crystal display device with a black film for reducing bright lines, light leakage and line cloak. The liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal panel divided into a display portion and a non-display portion. Black film is formed on the under surface of the non-display portion in the liquid crystal panel. By utilization of black film for reducing bright lines, light leakage and line cloak, the picture quality of the liquid crystal display device is greatly enhanced and the liquid crystal display device is lighter and slimmer.
