Summary:Disclosed is a locking assembly for use with a pump type dispenser to dispense material from a container. The assembly includes an actuator including at least one timing pin and a locking mechanism coupled to the actuator for limiting movement of the actuator until the timing pin is properly aligned with the locking mechanism. Alignment is achieved by rotating the actuator a first predetermined distance in a first direction and subsequently rotating the actuator a second predetermined distance in a second direction.
