Summary:A chair includes a base, a seat, a back and a linkage operably connecting the seat and the back to the base in a manner providing a synchrotilt movement of the back and the seat. The back is pivoted to the base at a first actual pivot for movement about a back tilt axis, and the seat is pivoted to the back at a second actual pivot for movement about a second axis that is generally aligned with the hip joints of a user. The seat is further movably and pivotally supported on the base.
