The end portions are formed with inlet and outlet fluid channels which are selectively accessible and blockable to direct the flow through the strainer. Further, an arrangement for mounting the strainer is provided with inclined bores through which bolts may pass with their operational interface directed angularly upwardly for easy access by conventional tools.
