Carbon fibers and process for their production

A carbon fiber which, when baked at a temperature of at least 3,000 DEG C., will have a spread La of graphite crystallites in the layer plane direction of more than 1,000 ANGSTROM , an electrical specific resistance of less than 1.1 mu OMEGA m and a thermal conductivity of more than 1,100 W/mxK.
