BARBER-POLE MAGNETORESISTIVE MAGNETIC FIELD SENSOR
An acceleration sensor including a cantilever beam (10) having a free end to which a permanent magnet (11) is attached. A pair of magnetic sensors (32-1, 32-2), each consisting of a barber-pole type magnetoresistive sensing element, are arranged opposite to and symmetrically with respect to the magn...

Summary: | An acceleration sensor including a cantilever beam (10) having a free end to which a permanent magnet (11) is attached. A pair of magnetic sensors (32-1, 32-2), each consisting of a barber-pole type magnetoresistive sensing element, are arranged opposite to and symmetrically with respect to the magnet (11). The cantilever (10) is bent and the magnet (11) is moved according to an acceleration, which is detected as outputs from the magnetoresistive sensing elements (32-1, 32-2). |
