Summary:A method and product for fixing fractures in phalanges provides a plate having a surface configured to substantially conform to the intramedullary cortex. Holes are drilled through the external cortex and intramedullary cortex and apertures formed in the plate are aligned with these holes in the bone. Fasteners are extended in the holes from the external cortex side and are threadably engaged with the apertures to draw the plate into abutting relationship with the intramedullary cortex.
