Summary: | A ceramic/metal element, in which a metal layer (1) is firmly bonded to a ceramic substrate (2) after cooling and consequent solidification of a previously liquid eutectic interlayer (3), wherein the metal layer (1) has at least approximately the same or a greater thickness (D) than the ceramic substrate (2) and is composed in the manner of a mosaic from individual, predominantly loosely adjoining metal elements (1). By using the composite structure of the present ceramic/metal element, fracture of the ceramic substrate and curvature of the composite ceramic/metal element is avoided. |
