Summary: | An automatic adjusting device which is disposed midway of a control wire connecting an actuating mechanism such as a brake and an operating lever. The automatic adjusting device automatically compensates not only the internal wear of the actuating mechanism but also the extension of the control wire so that it can always take up any excessive play or slack of the control wire to thereby impart to the operating lever a minimum play, which corresponds to the proper ineffective stroke of the actuating mechanism. |
