Summary:Cured elastomers prepared by the reaction of a hydroxyl-terminated polyorganosiloxane with curing agents containing silicon-bonded aminoxy and/or amido groups can be painted when a dialkoxysilane of the formula X'R1SiR2(OR3)2 is present in the curable composition. In the foregoing formula R1 is alkylene, haloalkylene or oxyalkylene, R2 and R3 are individually hydrocarbon, alkoxy-hydrocarbon or halohydrocarbon radicals and X' is glycidoxy, mercapto, acryloxy, methacryloxy, NH2, -N(C2H5)2 or -N(H)CH2CH2NH2.
