Summary:Apparatus for cleaning the wheel arches of vehicles comprises a carrier, pivotally mounted about a substantially horizontal axis, on support means, a spraying unit slidably mounted on the carrier and movable substantially inwards and outwards relative to the pivotal axis of the carrier, means for moving the support means whereby the spraying unit is brought into a position alongside a wheel for spraying with the pivotal axis of the carrier adjacent to and substantially parallel with the axis of the wheel, means for moving said spraying unit inwards and/or outwards in relation to said pivotal axis of said carrier and means for pivoting the carrier about the pivotal axis relative to said support means.
