Summary:An electrostatographic developer mixture comprising finely-divided, positively triboelectrically charging toner particles electrostatically clinging to negatively triboelectrically charging carrier particles. The carrier particles comprise a core particle treated with from between about 0.001 percent and about 1.0 percent by weight of at least one surface active additive selected from highly fluorinated materials having an ionic group selected from a cationic, anionic, nonionic, and amphoteric group. The developer mixture is especially useful for the development of negatively charged electrostatic latent images.
