Summary:This invention relates to novel phosphoramidothioates of the formula: wherein A is optionally substituted (C6-C10) aryl; R is hydrogen or (C1-C6) alkyl; R1 is (a) optionally substituted (C1-C6) alkyl, (b) (C3-C8) cycloalkyl, (c) optionally substituted (C3-C6) alkenyl, (d) (C3-C6) alkynyl, or (e) optionally substituted (C7-C11) aralkyl; R2 is (a) (C1-C6) alkylthio, (b) (C6-C10) aryloxy, or (c) NZ'Z''; wherein Z' is hydrogen or (C1-C6) alkyl; and Z'' is hydrogen, (C1-C6) alkyl, (C3-C6) alkenyl, di(C1-C3) alkylamino, 2-ethylthioethyl, 2-methoxyethyl or (C1-C4) alkoxycarbonylalkyl (C1-C4); R3 is unsubstituted (C1-C6) alkyl; and X is oxygen or sulfur; to compositions containing them and to methods of using them to control certain harmful pests.
