Summary:A process for preparing resin-impregnated glass fiber mats in which the binder resin has a high rate of dissolution in vinyl monomers. The binder resin is a styrene resin or copolymer composed mainly of styrene, which has a melting point of 100 DEG to 150 DEG C. and a molecular weight of 2500 to 7000, or a mixture of said styrene resin or copolymer with an unsaturated polyester resin having a melting point of 80 DEG to 130 DEG C.
