Summary:A door having horizontally hinged sections is supported upon reinforced track means for movement between an upright closed position and an open position. A counterbalance mechanism, which is mounted upon the wall above the opening, is connected to the door to counteract gravity. The counterbalance springs are connected to fusible link means which melts at a predetermined temperature and thereby reduces the tension on the springs so that the door will close under the force of gravity. Governor means is rendered operative when the fusible link is ruptured to control the closing movement of the door.
