[Also in Divisions F2 and G3] An air distribution unit comprises a duct 3, plenum chambers 25, 27 and outlet slots 33 controlled by an inflatable bladder 44 supplied with air by a control valve 50 which includes an inlet 61 from duct 3, a spring and ball valve 63, 67 which closes duct 61 in the event of a predetermined minimum pressure occurring, an adjustable orifice 71, an outlet 83 leading via duct 47 to bladder 44 and an orifice 87 leading to an outlet 81. The valve 50 may be adjusted to produce a constant rate of air flow through slots 33, in which case the outlet 81 is led to atmosphere, or alternatively responds to fluctuations in room temperature when the outlet 81 is led to a bleed-type thermostat 90. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,018,813.
