Summary: | This invention provides methods for marking a target location for a medical procedure, comprising topically, intradermally, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly administering to a subject in need of the medical procedure an ink composition in an amount that is effective to mark with an impermanent tattoo the target location of the medical procedure. The invention also provides methods for marking a subject, comprising topically, intradermally, subcutaneously, or intramuscularly administering to the subject a solid ink composition in an amount that is effective to mark the subject with an impermanent tattoo, wherein the ink composition comprises an ink particle, and wherein the ink particle has a (i) diameter ranging from about 10 nm to about 100 μm or (ii) volume ranging from about 0.0001 mm3 to about 20 mm3. |
