Summary:This application relates to a method of amplifying an radio frequency signal using a power amplifier, the method comprising the steps of: inputting a supply voltage into the power amplifier; inputting the radio frequency signal to be amplified into the power amplifier; inputting a time-calibrated bias signal into the power amplifier that varies based on an envelope signal produced from the radio frequency signal, said envelope signal indicating an envelope of the radio frequency signal and said bias signal being time calibrated to within 3 ns of the envelope of the radio frequency signal; and amplifying, by the power amplifier, the radio frequency signal based at least in part on the bias signal.
