Summary: | Provided are conjugates, compositions, methods and uses related to treating a subject having a cancer, such as a cancer comprising a first tumor, a primary tumor, metastatic tumor cells, and/or invasive tumor cells. The methods include administering to the subject a targeting molecule that binds interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (CD25) without substantially blocking or interfering with IL-2 signaling, conjugated with phthalocyanine dye, such as IR700, followed by illuminating a first tumor or primary tumor with a wavelength of light to activate the phthalocyanine dye. The methods and uses described herein provide for reduction, growth and elimination of tumors and tumor cells including first tumors, primary tumors, metastatic tumor cells, and/or invasive tumor cells. Also provided are methods and uses for enhancing systemic immunity against tumor growth in a subject having a cancer, a tumor or a lesion. |
