Summary:According to a particular implementation of the techniques disclosed herein, a device includes a memory configured to store data corresponding to multiple candidate channel positions. The device also includes one or more processors coupled to the memory and configured to obtain audio data that represents one or more audio sources. The one or more processors are configured to obtain early reflection signals based on the audio data and spatialized reflection parameters. The one or more processors are configured to pan each of the early reflection signals to one or more respective candidate channel position of the multiple candidate channel positions to obtain panned early reflection signals. The one or more processors are also configured to generate an output binaural signal, based on the audio data and the panned early reflection signals, that represents the one or more audio sources with artificial reverberation.
