Summary:A method for processing text images, an apparatus therefor, a device and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: obtaining an initial text image; extracting luminance and chrominance of the initial text image; obtaining coefficients of chrominance transformation by performing a linear transformation on the chrominance based on the luminance; and obtaining a to-be-displayed text image based on the coefficients of chrominance transformation. Luminance values of the text image are integrated into output chrominance values. There is no lack of data about the luminance values during a display process, thereby avoiding blurring and color distortion problems caused by traditional chroma upsampling algorithm and improving display effect.
