In some approaches, the transaction card may include a body comprising a first main side opposite a second main side, a first end opposite a second end, and a first side opposite a second side, wherein a chip is coupled to the first main side of the body. An insert may be positioned within a recess along the first main side, wherein a first magnetic material of the recess and a second magnetic material of the insert are positioned proximate one another to increase retention between the insert and the body.
