Summary:A printing apparatus that is configured to be able to communicate with a server managing contractual information of a service of the printing apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire the contractual information from the server, and a control unit configured to cause the acquisition unit to reacquire the contractual information in response to an operation by a user selecting a predetermined button, in a case where the acquisition unit has failed to acquire the contractual information. The predetermined button is a button corresponding to a single function of the printing apparatus, and the single function is restricted to be used because of failure in acquiring the contractual information.
