An embroidered element on an exterior surface of the first knit layer may be included, where the embroidered element extends through the first knit layer but does not extend through the second knit layer. The textile may also include a cushioning area that is elevated relative to a base portion of the knitted component. An emblem formed by the embroidered element is located within the cushioning area.
