Summary:A sound pickup device includes: a sound pickup unit to which a sound is input; an attachment portion to which the sound pickup unit is attached and which is inserted into an ear canal; a holding portion that is inserted into the ear canal and holds the attachment portion at a predetermined position of the ear canal; a wearing portion positioned on an opposite side of the attachment portion with the holding portion interposed therebetween and formed in a shape having a curved portion; and an outer arrangement portion positioned on an opposite side of the holding portion with the wearing portion interposed therebetween and at least part of the outer arrangement portion positioned on an outer side of an auricle. The attachment portion, the holding portion, the wearing portion, and the outer arrangement portion each contain a linear material and are formed into a predetermined shape. The wearing portion is inserted into a cavum conchae and at least part of the wearing portion is engaged with the auricle.
