Summary:A power storage system includes a first battery including two power storages, and a switch unit which switches between two voltage states in series and in parallel, a three-phase motor having a neutral point, an inverter connected on a power transmission path between the first battery and the three-phase motor, a DC power supply circuit connected to a connection portion on a power transmission path between the inverter and the first battery, a branch circuit branched from the DC power supply circuit on a positive side thereof and connected to a coil of one phase in the three-phase motor, a capacitor, a pre-charge circuit connected to a power transmission path between the inverter and the first battery, a converter connected to the pre-charge circuit, and a second battery connected to the converter and having a voltage lower than voltages of the first battery in the two voltage states.
