Summary:Systems and methods described herein improve a customer experience by enabling a user equipment (UE) device to accurately display a premium network icon based on network signaling. A network device stores configuration thresholds for supporting a premium cellular service and monitors network conditions against the configuration thresholds. When the network conditions meet at least one of the configuration thresholds, the network device provides to the UE device a signal for the UE device to present a premium network icon to a user.
