Display screen types may include an AOD screen, a lock screen, a drop-down screen, a desktop screen, an immersive application screen, and the like. In addition, the electronic device may display a card including the notification information on a desktop screen. A user may further process notification content based on the card. The notification display method can help the user quickly view the notification content, thereby improving efficiency of dealing with the notification information by the user.
