Summary:An interactive way-finder system includes an interactive way-finder device having device communications circuitry and a display that displays one or more hands pointing in the direction of a destination based on proximity information received from communications circuitry of a destination. The destination is represented on the display as a displayed destination and may be an attraction, a restaurant, an amusement park exit, restrooms, or the like. The destination may be selected based on user input, on location of the interactive way-finder system in the amusement park, or based on a user profile. The communication between the interactive way-finder device and the destination may enable special effects at the destination, onboard effects on the interactive way-finder device, or both. The interactive way-finder device may be capable of operating in several different modes.
