Summary:Systems and methods presented herein generally relate to receiving real-time data from one or more sensors associated with equipment of a hydrocarbon well production system, predicting scale precipitation in the hydrocarbon well production system based at least in part on the real-time data, and automatically adjusting one or more operating parameters of the equipment based at least in part on the predicted scale precipitation. For example, automatically adjusting the one or more operating parameters of the equipment may include determining a scale inhibitor injection rate setpoint based at least in part on the predicted scale precipitation, and automatically adjusting a speed of one or more chemical injection pumps of a chemical injection system in accordance with the scale inhibitor injection rate setpoint.
