Summary: | A method performed by a base station includes transmitting configuration information indicating a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) and one or more thresholds associated with a number of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) bits to be included in the UCI. Each of the plurality of PUCCH resources is associated with at least one PUCCH format and a respective number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols. The base station transmits a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) transmission indicating to transmit the UCI. The base station receives a PUCCH transmission that includes the UCI, using one of the PUCCH resources and an associated PUCCH format. The UCI includes a number of HARQ bits that satisfies one of the indicated thresholds, and the PUCCH transmission includes a number of OFDM symbols corresponding to the PUCCH format. |
