Summary:An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first communication circuit, a second communication circuit, a power transmission coil, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to connect an external electronic device and the first communication circuit, transmit power to the external electronic device, receive, from the external electronic device, a first signal including a control error packet (CEP) at a first time point, after the first point in time, count a first number of times a specified unit time elapses without the first signal being received, if the first number of times corresponds to a specified first threshold value, transmit, to the external electronic device, a second signal for requesting a second communication connection, and connect the external electronic device and the second communication based on reception of a third signal including a response of the external electronic device to the second signal.
