The techniques may also involve making a determination, based on the result of the monitoring, that the portable medicine delivery device is outside a predetermined range of the portable computing device. The techniques may further involve generating a notification based on the determination. The notification may be indicative of a user of the portable computing device being unaccompanied by the portable medicine delivery device.
