Summary:Disclosed is a pair of specific primers for identifying Asian gypsy moth and a method of detection thereby. In the present disclosure, based on the SS-COI technology, primers for distinguishing other species of Lymantria are designed according to the specific region of the mitochondrial COI gene of Asian gypsy moth. The pair of primers has accurate identification effects on different geographical populations, different insect states and different instars of Asian gypsy moth; in addition, the whole detection process only takes 2-3 hours, which has the advantages of rapidity and accuracy.
