A method for testing a xenotransplantation material for pathogen infection, the method comprising performing genetic tests for infection by pathogens comprising two or more types of bacteria and a virus or a protozoon, in which the genetic test for the two or more types of bacteria comprises using a primer that targets a common base sequence among at least two types of bacteria.
