Summary:A driver circuit may include an inductive element and a first circuit path connected to the inductive element, the first circuit path including an optical emitter and a capacitive element in series with the optical emitter. The driver circuit may include a second circuit path connected to the inductive element, the second circuit path including a voltage divider element to produce an output signal and a signal output to provide the output signal to a time-to-digital converter. The driver circuit may include a switch having an open state and a closed state. The switch in the closed state may cause current to charge the inductive element. The switch transitioning from the closed state to the open state may cause the inductive element to discharge current to provide an electrical pulse through the first circuit path to the optical emitter and through the second circuit path to the signal output.
