Summary: | A verification system is provided that can enable tracking of online advertisements with successful sales of goods or services. The system can receive an advertisement tag as part of a request by a user relating to the product or service, the advertisement tag comprising an identity of a publisher of an advertisement regarding a product or service offered by a vendor, the publisher being different from the vendor; determine a contribution of the publisher's advertisement to the request; and update a set of transaction data structures in an electronic record to associate the identified publisher and contribution with the request. |
