Summary:The invention relates to a method for processing explosive products in a separating machine (10) which comprises a rotary apparatus (30) located in a drum (20), wherein the drum (20) is located in a machine housing (40). According to the invention, a cooling liquid is applied, in particular sprayed, onto an outer surface (21) of the drum (20), at least onto portions thereof and/or intermittently, during processing of the products, and the temperature in the machine housing (40) is monitored during processing.
