Summary:An interface device is provided for use with a media device and a hand. The media device is configured to provide media and perform an action with reference to the media, the interface device including: a memory having instructions and a data structure stored therein including hand gesture data and an association associating the hand gesture data to the action; an imaging device configured to obtain an image of the hand and output image data based on the image of the hand; and a processor configured to execute the instructions stored on the memory to cause the interface device to: instruct the imaging device to obtain the image of the hand; obtain the image data; determine whether the image data corresponds to the hand gesture data; and generate a control signal to instruct the media device to perform the action when the image data corresponds to the hand gesture data.
