A method for transmitting, by a first UE, a message in a wireless communication system supporting a sidelink, and an apparatus therefor are disclosed, the method comprising the steps of: obtaining state information including geographic location information; receiving a first message from a second UE; and determining whether to stop transmission of a second message, on the basis of the state information and whether the first message includes information on a geographic area.
