Summary:The present invention relates to a positive electrode additive for a lithium secondary battery and a positive electrode material including the same, and more particularly, to a positive electrode additive for a lithium secondary battery, which enables stable maintenance of the electrochemical properties of a lithium secondary battery by reducing irreversible capacity loss of a negative electrode and reductions in gelation and gas generation, caused by a conventional positive electrode additive, and a positive electrode material including the same.
