Summary:A guide device for a cooking rack comprises a side grid and a pull-out guide with rails movable relative to one another, wherein a stationary rail can be fixed to a strut of the side grid via at least two holders, wherein at least the strut to which the at least two holders are fixed has a cross-section deviating from the circular shape, and at least one holder has a contact surface which lies flat against the strut. In this way, the pull-out guide can be firmly fixed to the strut.
