Summary:A charging system includes ultrawide band (UWB) beacons disposed within a region, configured to receive signals from a UWB emitting device, wherein each UWB beacon is configured to determine a unique timestamp associated with the signals from the UWB emitting device, a processing unit coupled to the UWB beacons configured to receive unique timestamps from each UWB beacon, is configured to determine a plurality of three-dimensional positions of the UWB emitting device within the region in response to the unique timestamps, and a power unit coupled to the processing unit, configured to direct an energy power signal to the UWB emitting device in response to the plurality of three-dimensional positions of the UWB emitting device within the region, wherein the plurality of three-dimensional positions have different x, y and z positions.
