Summary:An organ container includes an opening that allows passage of an organ and a pouch-shaped insulating sheet that holds an organ inserted through the opening. The insulating sheet has an inner surface of an uneven shape. This uneven shape suppresses slipping or coming off of the organ from the insulating sheet. Accordingly, it is possible to stably hold the organ in the insulating sheet and to suppress a temperature rise in the organ caused by the body temperature of a recipient or the outside air temperature.
