Summary:The present disclosure includes compositions and methods for controlling a pest population, such as insects, arachnids, and other arthropods. The compositions herein may include mineral particles and at least one organic pesticide associated with the mineral particles, e.g., adsorbed and/or incorporated into portions of the mineral particles. For example, the composition may be applied to a substrate and/or an area having pests, such that the composition attaches to a pest proximate the substrate or in the area to deliver the organic pesticide(s) to the pest.
