Summary:A coating composition, an elastomeric article having the coating composition and a process for making coated elastomeric articles are disclosed in the present invention. The coating composition comprises 0.5% to 11% by weight/volume of at least one cooling agent; 0.5% to 11% by weight/volume of at least one non-ionic surfactant; and water, wherein rest of the coating composition is made of water. The coated elastomeric articles prepared according to the present invention improve user's sensory experience of wearing the elastomeric articles for long durations without varying the user's hand temperature or limiting mobility of the user's hand.
